Spreading the message of grace and love to a world that desperately needs it is our duty as God’s Kingdom and as followers of Christ. However, it seems that going up to doors or standing in front of a building passing out papers with Biblical verses is too much for us. When it shouldn’t. It should be easy for us. However, it’s not the only way. It is time to take advantage of the Social Media Revolution. Facebook and twitter, and other social media sites have grown in the past few years, and it has become part of our daily lives. It has a become a necessity like food and water, in my opinion — we can’t live without checking/updating our Facebook page. We like to share stuff, I.e., photos, music, news, etc. People with Twitter accounts tweeting random stuff every second. Individuals around the world rely on the internet for almost everything now when it comes to education, news, entertainment, and to a sense, spirituality. Let’s accept the cold truth — The Internet is everything. What does this have to do with spreading the gospel? Simple. Let’s use the internet as a tool to spread the word of God — let’s have our revolution in the social media world. I’m not saying to stop physical evangelism, but to find modern ways to evangelize, and that is using Social Media. How? You know how. Trust me. You do. Let faith have its role in the Social Media Revolution!
