Spreading the message of grace and love to a world that desperately needs it is our duty as God’s Kingdom and as followers of Christ. I think it’s time that the church takes advantage of the social media revolution. Facebook and twitter, and other social media sites have grown in the past few years, and it has become part of our daily lives. It has a become a necessity like food and water, in my opinion — we can’t live without checking/updating our Facebook page. We like to share stuff, e.g., photos, music, news, etc.  People with Twitter accounts tweeting random stuff every second. Individuals around the world rely on the internet for almost everything now when it comes to education, news, entertainment, and to a sense, spirituality. Let’s accept the cold truth… the Internet is everything. What does this have to do with spreading the gospel? Simple. Let’s use the internet as a tool to spread the word of God — let’s have our mark in the social media world. Let’s find a modern way to evangelize, and I think using social media is a key.
