God sees us perfect, and great in his eyes. However, how do you see yourself? Do you look at your life through your carnal eyes or do you see your life through the eyes of God?
We cannot look at life in a worldly way. We need to look at our life’s how God sees life. We need to look at ourselves the way God sees us, not how the world sees us. The world sees me as a religious fanatic, but I see myself as a passionate young adult who is on fire for God, and who is addicted to grace. That has a purpose, and lives to do the will of God. That’s how I see myself.
I know our eyes can get weary at times, but God’s eyes don’t. Let your eyes be His eyes. Look at things the way God looks at things. When you look at yourself and your life, don’t have a negative sight, have a positive sight of yourself and your life. God only sees the positive, so should you.
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” – Hebrews 11:1
We cannot see our future. However, with a faith that is steadfast, we can have sight of what is to come, by the power of faith.
Trade your finite eyes with God’s eyes. God sees a lot in you, and should see it in yourself. God has chosen you for a reason. You are not without purpose. You have big life ahead of you! You may not see it through your eyes, but you will see it through God’s. Put them godly glasses on.
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” – 2 Corinthians 4:18
