DON’T BOX YOURSELF

The sky’s is the limit. That phrase has truth to it. Just as the sky seems infinite; God is infinite, and has no limitations.  God can do all things. He is omniscient and omnipotent. However, why do we limit what God can do in our life? By limiting God, we are limiting ourselves. We allow our negative thoughts to be our reality. We limit ourselves to dreaming small instead of dreaming big, and to me, that’s putting God in a small box when He cannot be boxed.

God can do all things. God is in you, and you are in Him. Do you get what I’m saying?! God is in you! If God can do all things, and He is in you then you can do a lot. You can do big things in life, because of the power and strength of God abides in you. (1 Corinthians 15:28, 1 Corinthians 6:19)

Jesus Christ even said it, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” – John 14:12 Even greater things!

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” – (Philippians 4:13 NIV)

We are able to do all things through Christ. God is beyond us – in all things. But God is trying to tell us something, and that something is that we can do more than we think we think we can. We can achieve anything through the strength that dwells within us. We can move the mountains. Nothing can stand against God, and if He is with us, nothing can stand against us. Family hardship, financial problems, etc., nothing can stand against us.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God” – (Mark 10:27)

Another thing is to not submit God to your reasoning. God does not formulate ideas the way you do. Our minds are finite. Therefore, the key to not seeing your life through a straw’s hole is to tap into the power faith. (Proverbs 3:5-6, Isaiah 55:8-9)

Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
    his understanding has no limit.” – (Psalms 147-5 NIV)

Don’t box God. God cannot fit in a box, and neither should you.

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.” – Bruce Lee
