It seems like there is a lot of bad news as of lately being slammed into our faces by media networks, and when you are having a bad day, the last thing you want to deal with is more negativity.

It is my goal to find positive and inspirational content that I could post on here. I want my site to be a source of good news for you. So today, while searching for content to post, I found this video. It’s titled “Instructions For A Bad Day.”

Video below:

“Yes we can,” is the common American chant when striving towards a goal. However, I ask myself… Can we? Do we? Did we? America is full of individuals from all walks of life who have followed their dreams, and have been successful at it.  Are you this person? We all have dreams and goals, but we tend to strive towards them slowly or not at all. STOP IT! You have a dream, go for it! You have goals, complete them. There is nothing that can or will hold you back, except yourself! Think about your current goals in life that you have set for yourself, and tell yourself I can, I will, and once you have completed your goals, you can say I did.

I can.

I will.

I did.

Christianity has done an excellent job on pointing out what’s wrong in the world or in people, but they haven’t done a good job in pointing out the good. You see, throughout the first chapter of Genesis God kept saying everything that He created was not just good, but very good. You and I are good. Everything that God created is GOOD! You are not a mistake, but rather a perfectly created puzzle that is meant to fit in the grand puzzle of humanity to continue God’s plan for the greater good. Despite all the bad currently in the world, God’s original words “very good” still are true to this day. God wants us to redeem all the goodness in the world. The good in culture. The good in music. The good in technology. The good in entertainment. The good in everything, because everything He has created is good, and you are included in that declaration.  You are created with purpose. You are beautiful. You are amazing. All of you is good, and all that you are is meant to be for the good of others. You’re not a curse, but a blessing in this world. God is pleased with you, because in His eyes you are “very good.”

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good...” — Genesis 1:31

Change is scary, but it is good. Letting go is hard, but being open to something better is freeing and beneficial. The old is gone, and the new has come. Cheers to new beginnings!

When I first started this blog I never thought to myself that it would become what it is today – a website that is visited from all over the world, and not just a couple of views, but thousands, and hopefully millions in the next few years. My website has evolved since 2012, and if you have been one of my faithful readers, you know exactly what I’m talking about! I’ve written about pretty much everything, well… except about poop, and I hope I never have too… I’ve written about a lot, and I’ve done it passionately, but in the past two years I found myself stuck in my ability to write something meaningful, enjoyable, and relatable, but that was due to my unwillingness to accept the fact that everything evolves and changes in life, and that my writing should evolve and change as well, and since I didn’t understand that at the time, writing became almost like a household chore than something I love doing. As a result, I stopped writing and posting on my site for a while. However, I’m obviously back. After walking a dry desert, not literally of course, I found an oasis of new ideas and a new level of creativity once I accepted the fact that it is time to change and try something different.

Don’t be afraid of change. Don’t be afraid of trying something different. If you find yourself stuck and wanting something different in life, then go and discover what awaits you.

Don’t be afraid of new beginnings.
